Pour les chercheurs en sciences humaines se pose rapidement la question de cet anachronisme. Pour moi, cette \u00e9nigme ouvre la voie \u00e0 une recherche plastique prot\u00e9iforme.<br><br> La lettre \u00ab Bruit originaire \u00bb, de Rainer Maria Rilke, me revient \u00e0 l\u2019esprit. Le po\u00e8te y \u00e9crit son fantasme de pouvoir entendre la m\u00e9moire d\u2019un \u00eatre par ses sutures cr\u00e2niennes. La m\u00e9moire qu\u2019acquiert la mati\u00e8re au fil du temps est le point de d\u00e9part de ce projet : je me mets en t\u00eate de retranscrire la m\u00e9moire de cet individu du XIIe si\u00e8cle, non pas par le biais d\u2019un phonographe, comme l\u2019imaginait Rilke, mais gr\u00e2ce aux techniques d\u2019acquisition 3D et sonores employ\u00e9es dans la recherche aux laboratoires du CNRS le MAP et LMA \u00e0 Marseille.<br><br> Parmi les tombes d\u00e9couvertes \u00e0 Nice, la s\u00e9pulture T209 contient les restes de deux personnes, dont une r\u00e9duite au cr\u00e2ne (l\u2019individu US 1676) et \u00e0 un hum\u00e9rus ; un pot fun\u00e9raire dit \u00ab P\u00e9gau \u00bb ; des tuiles plates romaines dites \u00ab tegule \u00bb.
